What is a system?
For us, a system is when multiple people are made to share the same body. The brain "splits" from one into multiple, all with the same amount of variety as you would find if you picked random people off of the street.
I won't be talking about the others here, however.
Why do you call yourself Rui, and draw yourself as a modified version of him?
I am an introject/fictive of Rui Kamishiro, with many of his traits being incorporated into my own person. However, I am still very much someone separate from him— treating me as a fictional character is not appreciated. Rui's like my weird bug in a jar that I stare at affectionately, and occasionally rattle around.
What is an introject? A fictive?
The dictionary definition states that introject means: "[the incorporation] of (attitudes or beliefs) into one's personality unconsciously." From a system standpoint, an introject is someone that's based on something else, rather than being made entirely than the brain. Fictives are those based on fictional characters. Two fictives of the same character will never be the exact same. I have a comic I illustrated here on this topic, if you'd like to read more.
